1. Features:
The splice press is staimless steel for machine's boday case .this solution for splicing thermoplastic conveyor belts (e.g. PVC belts).have an external control box and a water-pump. Use for water cooling tank to water cycle cause the machine to cool.
User must outfit an air-pump for provide sufficient pressure. let the belts more tightly bonded.
The presses are provided with electric heating and built in water cooling. The splice process runs fully automated.
1) Splice pressure is applied by an internal compressor, max. 2 bar (28 psi)
2) Heats up to a splice temperature of max. 200°C (392°F)
3)Keeps it at the splice temperature (adjustable dwell time)
4) Cools down to the cooling temperature (safe temperature to take the belt out)
5) For thicker belts a preheat temperature and preheat dwell time can be applied
6)The bottom heating can be set lower or higher than the top heating
2.Belts heating press splices advantages:
GY1100 dual purpose heating press technical features :stainless body ,double balloon ,laser heating silica gel plates ,built-in direct cooling system.
1) It takes 20 minutes to heat up to 200°C,and takes 3 minutes to cool down to 60°C.The horizontal direction temperature error below2°C,completely meets the requirement of the belt joint.
2) Balloon adding pressure:0-3.0kg adjustable.
3) Intelligent digital display control :automatic heating ,automatic temperature control, automatically cut off power supply.
4) Pump water pump, use conveniently.
5) Two matched stainless platen ,the beams are firm ,durable and no distortion.
3.Operation steps
Before the heating press:
(1) Put the belt connector (had been tooth fighted & fixed by air gun) on the mould flatly.
(2) Put a small belt(the same thickness) at both sides to avoid the melting PVC overflowing.
(3) Cover a piece on the belt.(function: not sticking to melting PVC belt , thermostability & fast heat transfer ,heat evenly)
(4) Cover the male mold, tighten the controlling nuts of both ends.
(5) Open the power switch.
During the heating
Please keep the electric tension stable and don't disturb the heating press mold during the heating process.
After the heating press
(1) Open the controlling nut ,move the male mold.
(2) Cutting belts : coupled with a below the belt is often used for cutting gaskets. when cut through the lower die to prevent the cutting.
